About

Born in Melbourne, Australia in 2006, Angus Grenfell showed an early passion for speed, starting with a skateboard at age 2 and a bike at age 3. Introduced to motorcycles at 3 with his uncle's Honda Z50, Angus honed his skills at training tracks. Transitioning to Motocross in 2013, he yearned for greater challenges.

In the world of Dirt/Flat Track racing, Angus found a new passion for speed and skill. Starting his career officially in February 2014, he competed across Australia, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to each race and practice. Between 2014 and 2018, Angus secured multiple state and club championships, forming lasting friendships along the way.

In 2018, Angus transitioned from Dirt Track to road racing. The switch led to significant accomplishments, including finishing 2nd overall in the 2019 Oceania Junior Cup. That year, he also secured victories in the Victorian State Championship and various club championships, earning him the Junior Clubman of the Year title. Angus continued to enhance his skills and personal growth by participating in the Red Bull Rookies and Asia Talent Cup selection events in late 2019, even though he did not secure a spot for the 2020 season.

In 2020, racing opportunities were restricted due to the global pandemic. However, in 2021, Angus overcame injuries and joined the GTR MotoStars Supersport 300 team in the ASBK National Championship as a satellite rider. By August 2021, Angus decided to ride with the Artbox Team in the 2022 Hawkers European Talent Cup, moving to Spain in February 2022. This marked the beginning of his international racing journey, exposing him to new challenges, top-tier competition, and personal growth.

Angus's dedication and determination, both on and off the track, along with his openness to feedback, impressed his team boss. As a result, he earned the chance to compete in the 2023 FIM JuniorGP World Championship. Despite facing challenges, such as metacarpal fractures in his right hand during the season, Angus's resilience and commitment to success never wavered.

In 2024, Angus Grenfell is poised for an exciting year ahead as he embarks on a promising journey in the JuniorGP. With a strengthened team and heightened anticipation, Angus is well-equipped to tackle the challenges that lie ahead on the circuits. His fluency in Spanish further enhances his adaptability, while the unwavering support from his family fuels his drive to excel throughout the upcoming season.
